英語絵本、ピギーとジェラルドのシリーズ「We Are in a Book」の読み聞かせです。2011年のテオドール・スース ガイゼル賞作品です。
今回は、これまでと少し違った作品で絵本の中の二人がこちら側、つまり読み手に語り掛けてくるお話です。
これまで楽しい会話を繰り広げてきた2人でしたが、今回の作品で親近感がより一層高まった気がします。
語られる英会話もシンプルでやさしいものなので英語の本に慣れ始めのお子さんでも楽しめると思います。
