His parents have been told

That they would have a baby boy:

The savior long foretold.
救い主は長い間予言していた。
They traveled then to Bethlehem

As they were asked to do

And there, the savior of the world was born for me and you.

Now when this baby Boy was born,

They didn’t have a bed.

And so they laid him gently in

The sky turned bright! An angel came and woke them from their sleep.
空は明るくなった！ 天使が来て眠りから目を覚ました。
“Don’t be afraid,” the angel said,
天使は「恐れてはいけません。
“I have good news for you!
「私はあなたに良い知らせがあります！
There is a Baby born this night God’s promise has come true.”
今夜生まれた赤ちゃんがいる、神の約束が成り立っている」

The Shepherd’s run to find
羊飼いが見つけるために走る
This little Boy they’d heard about,
彼らが聞いたこの小さな少年は、
The Saviour, good and kind.
良い、親切な救い主。
They found him in the manger bed
彼らは彼をかいばおけのベッドで見つけた
And knelt to worship him,
そして、彼を崇拝するためにひざまずいて、
That baby was the king, come down
その赤ちゃんは王様としてつかわされた
To show God’s love for them.
神の愛を示すため。
This special gift that God had sent was meant for everyone,
神が送ったこの特別な贈り物は、誰のためにも意味あるものでした、
for God would rescue us from sin
神は我々を罪から救い出します
By sending us his son.

God still wants us to know
神はまだ私たちに知って欲しい
This Savior, born for you and me
あなたと私のために生まれたこの救い主
Because He loves us so.
