英語絵本「I’ll teach my dog 100 words」の読み聞かせです。
犬は賢いですから教え込むといろんなことができるようになります。だけど、この絵本ではお隣さんだけでなく市長さんまでもがびっくりするようなことをやってのけています。
だんだんマンガ風にエスカレートしていくんですが、韻を踏んだ文章がリズミカルで心地よいです。
動きのある犬のイラストと一緒にいろいろな動作を英語で読めるので、動詞や形容詞のイメージを定着させるのにぴったりな絵本でした。
I’ll teach my dog 100 words
私は、犬に100の語を教えます。
The first six words.
最初の6つの語。
I’ll teach my pop are dig a hole!
私が子犬に教えるのは、穴を掘る！
And fill it up!
そして、満たす！（埋める）
I’ll teach him
私が彼に教えるのは
walk
歩く
and run,

and then…
そしてそれから、
catch a ball!

Now that makes ten.

And Mr. Smith, who lives next door, will say, “That’s great! Can you teach him more?”
