季節の変化を感じ取った少年が森や動物たちに呼びかけます。ハロー！と声をかける少年にそれぞれが語り掛けてくる絵本です。
色鮮やかな晩秋の森、肌寒い風の吹く街の通り、日が短くなって暮れ行く夕日の景色がとってもきれいに描かれた作品でした。
