ピアノが大好きな少年アズールの夢は偉大なピアニストになること。
ある日、初めて演奏会に出席することになったのですが、先生のアドバイスの言葉に…考え込んでしまいました。
バックに流れるピアノの音がとっても心地よいです。
読み聞かせはゆっくりめで英語のサブタイトルも表示されるのでリスニングもしやすいと思います。
絵を見ながら内容はだいたい理解できそうですが、前もって下にある英文と対訳に目を通しておいても良いかもしれません。

There was once a little boy he named Azul.
かつてアズールという名の小さな男の子がいました。
He loved to play the piano and dreamed of becoming a pianist some day.
彼はピアノを演奏するのが大好きで、いつかピアニストになることを夢見ました。
Every Sunday Azul went to his piano class, practiced every night at home, jast before going to bed
毎週日曜日に、アズールはピアノ教室に行き、自宅で毎晩ベットに入る直前まで練習しました。
Azul became good at it because he was so sincere.
アズールはとても誠実だったので、それは上手になりました。
He would forget to brush his teeth but would never forget to practice playing the piano!
彼は歯を磨くのを忘れても、決してピアノを弾く練習することを忘れません。
One day, Vicky, his piano teacher told him,
ある日、彼のピアノの先生ビッキーが彼に言いました。
Azul, you will perform tomorrow in front of a large audience.

You are getting to be quite the pianist!

Vicky smiled. She whispered into Azul’s ear a piano teacher’s secret.

As always, Vicky pulled out her box of stickers.

Azul held out his hand and Vicki stuck on it, a gorgeous sticker of a butterfly.
アズールは彼の手を伸ばし、ビッキーはその蝶の素晴らしいステッカーをくっつけました。
There, think this butterfly when you want to play with your heart, she said.

That day, when all the children played in the park, Azul just stared at his butterfly.

He wondered, I can play with my fingers because I can move them.

For the first time, in a long time, Azul went to bed without playing the piano.

Now Azul was nervous.

Soon it was performance time.

The piano was in the middle of a round stage, surrounded by rows of people.

Azul walked onto the stage, sat on the piano bench and cloesd his eyes for a second.
アズールはステージの上を歩いて、ピアノの椅子に座り、ちょっとの間目を閉じた。
Remembering vicki’s words, he thought of the butterfly.
ビッキーの言葉を思い出して、彼は蝶について考えました。
In the quiet the auditorium, Azul heard to flutter of wings.
観客席の静けさの中、アズールは羽ばたきを聞いた。
Butterflies sat on his shoulder and started to hum a tune.
蝶は彼の肩に止まり、鼻歌を歌い始めました。
His fingers began to move by themselves.
彼の指はひとりでに動き始めました。
His heart began to play the butterflies song.
