When Clifford was a tiny puppy,

At first, Clifford was frightened.

Suddenly a boy grabbed the object.

A lot of kids came running after the boy.

One girl shouted, “Hey there’s a puppy on the football!”
一人の少女が叫んだ、「ねぇ、子犬がフットボールにしがみついている！」
The boy dropped the ball.
少年はボールを落とした。
So Clifford took it and ran.
そこでクリフォードはそれを取って走った。
He crossed the white line, and all the kids
cheered.
彼は白い線を越え、すべての子供たちは歓声をあげた。
Clifford had scored a touchdown!
クリフォードはタッチダウンを獲得していた！
The kids told me Clifford was a very special dog.
