今日は、英語絵本で大人気のねこ・ピート（Pete the Cat）がサイエンスフェアに挑戦するお話、
「Pete the Cat and the Supercool Science Fair」をご紹介します！
音楽もやるし旅もするし、ついには科学実験までやっちゃうなんて、ピートってほんと多才ですよね。
しかも今回は、仲間たちと一緒に火山を作るというワクワクストーリーなんです。

お話のあらすじ
金曜日に開かれる学校のサイエンスフェアに、ピートはもうワクワクが止まりません。

「巨大な木を育てるのは？」
「透明ギター！」
……と、みんなのアイデアが暴走気味の中、ガスの「火山作ろうよ！」という案で決定。
そこからは、材料をそろえて、紙とノリで形を作って……。
でも絵の具が茶色じゃなくて青だったり、溶岩が止まらなくて大惨事になったり、もう大騒ぎ。
でもね、ピートは動じません。

しかも、「秘密の材料」まで用意してあるんです。
さて、当日のサイエンスフェア。
他のチームの実験もすごくて、ちょっと不安になるピートたちですが、いよいよ自分たちの番。

All of a sudden, a lot of lava starts coming out.
