やさしいタッチのくまさんが登場するシリーズ絵本「Don’t worry Bear」の読み聞かせ動画です。
何かに夢中になっている毛虫を見つけたクマさん「何をしているの？」と尋ねてみるとcocoon（マユ）つくりでした。マユの中に閉じこもる毛虫を心配するやさしいクマさんのお話です。
Late one afternoon, a little bear found a caterpillar hard at work.
ある午後遅く、小さいクマは、仕事に没頭ている毛虫を見つけた。
“What are you doing?” asked Bear.
「何をしているの？」クマはたずねた。
“I’m making a cocoon.” said caterpillar.
「私はマユを作っている」毛虫は言った。
“I’ll stay inside for a while.
「私はしばらく内部に滞在します。
But I promise you’ll see me again.”
しかし、私は、あなたが再び私に会うと約束します。」
That night, bear got worried.
その夜、クマは心配した。
He came to check the cocoon.
彼はマユを調べにやってきた。
Caterpillar said. “Don’t worry, Bear. I’m not afraid of the dark.”
毛虫は言った「心配しないで、クマさん。私は暗闇を恐れない。」
He came again on a windy day.
彼は風が強い日に再び来た。
Caterpillar said. “Don’t worry, Bear.
毛虫は言った「心配しないで、クマさん。
A little wind doesn’t bother me.”
ちょっとの風は私を悩ますことはない。」
He came when it rained.
彼は雨が降ったときに来た。
Caterpillar said, “Don’t worry, Bear.
毛虫は言った「心配しないで、クマさん。
I’m not sitting wet.”
私は、濡れた状態で座っていません」
He came when it got cold.
寒くなったとき、彼は来ました。
Caterpillar said,”Don’t worry, Bear.
毛虫は言った「心配しないで、クマさん。
I’m very warm and cozy.
私は非常に暖かくて、くつろいでいます。」
He brought Mouse to see the cocoon.
彼はネズミを連れてマユを見にきました。
Mouse said, “Don’t worry, Bear. I think caterpillar sleeping.”
マウスは言った「心配しないでクマさん。毛虫は寝てるんだと思います。
The little bear stopped worrying about Caterpillar.
コグマは毛虫ーについて心配しなくなりました。

Bear found the cocoon empty.
クマは、マユが空であるとわかりました。
Then he started worrying all over again.
それから彼は再び心配し始めた。
While Bear was worrying.

A beautiful silk moth fluttered by.
美しいカイコガが羽ばたく。
Bear said, “Caterpillar is gone.
クマは言った、「毛虫はなくなった。
I’m afraid I’ll never see him again.”
私は、彼に決してふたたび会わないのではないかと恐れています。」
Then the silk moth landed on Bear’s paw.
その後、カイコガはクマの足に着地した。
“Don’t worry, Bear.” he said.
「心配しないで、クマさん」彼は言った。
“I’m right here!”
「ここにいるよ！」
