英語絵本「I Found a Kitty!」の読み聞かせです。ニューヨークタイムズのベストセラー作家によるCan I Be Your Dog?の2作目になります。このシリーズ、お手紙形式で進められるストーリーが特徴で、今回は子猫を見つけたアーフィーが引取先のおうちを探してあちこちにお手紙を出す内容です。
なかなか思うように見つけられなくても、失敗を次に生かして前向きに探し続けるワンちゃんのあーフィーがとても印象的でした。
ペットを飼うという事は、家族の一員だよってことを学ぶのと同時に、英語で手紙の書き方をたくさん見ることができてお勉強にもなる絵本です。
