‘Twas the day before Christmas and Santa was ill.
クリスマスの前日、サンタは病気でした。
In the cold winter wind he had caught a bad chill.

“Never!” cried Santa.
“Let’s call Pete the Cat!”
「けっして！」サンタは泣いた。

Santa asked Pete to deliver the toys to all the good girls and to all the good boys.
サンタはピートにすべての良い女の子と良い男の子におもちゃを渡すように頼んだ。
“I’ll do it!” said Pete.

“And although I am small, at Christmas we give, so I’ll give it my all.”

Pete jumped in his mini bus and started to roll.
